What are your hours?
We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 12pm until 8pm
Do you offer piercings?
We do not. We are strictly a tattoo studio, however we would be more than happy to refer you to a piercer that we recommend.
How old must you be to get a tattoo?
At this time, you MUST be 18 years old or older, even with the consent of a parent or guardian.
What is your shop minimum?
We do not have a shop minimum, as all of the artists charge an hourly rate. These rates begin at $150 per hour, but that rate does vary based on the artist that you’re working with. Please also note that we are an art studio, and most of the pieces our artists will accept will be large scale pieces. They will want your session to be AT LEAST two hours per sitting.
How do I schedule a consultation?
If you are looking to schedule a consultation with one of our INKCREDIBLE artists, please select the artist’s page you are wanting to book with. There will be a tab to take you to their form. Please allow our staff TWO BUSINESS DAYS to contact you with your consultation date and time. Please note that booking a consultation does not mean you have booked an appointment. You will be required to come into our shop to speak with your artist. You will also be required to put down a two hour deposit before we can book you an appointment.
Can I bring my children to your shop?
We do not allow anyone under the age of 18 to be present inside of our shop, for our safety and theirs!
Can I bring a guest to your shop?
Of course! As long as that guest is 18 years old or older.
What are the acceptable forms of I.D. I can bring when I’m being tattooed?
We accept valid (non-military) state/government issued drivers license, Identification card, or your passport. If none of these are available we do accept a clear photo with your first and last name with your original birth certificate. These must be presented in person, we do not accept copies or emailed copy.
Why can’t I use my military I.D.?
Copying a military I.D. is prohibited by law, and we must keep I.D. files for five years as per the VBHD.
Do you take walk-ins?
If an artist has time they will accept walk-ins, give us a call ahead of time to see how busy they are. Our artists are all booked out for weeks, sometimes months in advance. Even if you can’t get your tattoo that day you can book an appointment for the future. But please do not let this deter you from being tattooed with us! Our artists all deliver you custom, one of a kind pieces and you will not be sorry you had to wait!
Can I cancel my appointment and still keep my deposit?
We understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances happen. However, in order to keep your deposit safe, you are required to give NO LESS than 48 hours notice if you are rescheduling or cancelling your appointment. Please understand that while all of our artists love doing what they do, this is still their livelihood. If the appointment is cancelled last minute, this makes it extremely hard for your artist to fill that spot. Please understand that all of our artists operate out of our studio on booth rent, meaning if they lose an entire day of tattooing, they are not paid for that time lost.
I’ve booked my appointment, when can I see my drawing?
Your artist will have your drawing prepared for you at the time of your appointment. Any changes that need to be made will be handled at that time. If the design is agreed upon, your artist will begin to tattoo you at that time. If minor changes need to be made, they will be made at that time. In the event that the design needs to be majorly changed, a new appointment will have to be made, which may affect your deposit. If the design is completely changed without you contacting your artist before the 48 hour cancellation window, you will lose your deposit entirely to your artist, and a new one will have to be placed in order to reschedule your appointment. Please make sure to do your due diligence and communicate with your artist, and always send reference photos so that you and your artist are on the same page. We want you to love your art, but we also want to be fair to our artists and their hard work.
Why can’t I see my drawing weeks before my appointment?
The short answer to this is that your artist is fully booked prior to your appointment. We want all of our artists to keep your design fresh in their mind, which is why most final designs are fully prepared 48 hours before your appointment. This also protects your artist from spending several hours on your design, only to be cancelled on. Please trust your artist’s process, and know that you will be given a piece of art truly created just for you.
Do you accept out of state clients?
We absolutely do! We are lucky enough to have several clients outside of Virginia, and if you would like to set up an out of state consultation please call the shop at 757.721.4855 to get more information from our front desk.
